Lovely shot! I like the concept with the watch seeming as another snowdrop, very cool
The shallow DOF and soft focus is wonderful; the clock is in focus with the numbers and everything, yet I can see parts of the background blurred which creates great depth in the photo. Aperture is one of the harder parts to learn (well, it was for me anyway) because you also have to be aware of the shutter speed and ISO. They all work together! This article does a great job of explaining it. Once you master this, there are so many new levels you can take your photography to!
Personally, I feel like the photo is a little crowded. The blurred plants right in front are a little distracting, and I think it would be cool to see more of the other snowdrops to emphasize your concept. So, perhaps it would've been better to zoom out a little and use the rule of thirds.
I also think this would be great in color! Especially if there's a nice contrast between the greens of the grass, the white of the flowers, and whatever color the clock is. That's more personal preference, though.
