I've been meaning to make a journal for a while now, ever since I reached 15,000 views and 300 watchers but I've been so pre-occupied as of late!

 I've met so many amazing artists, and fantastic people that I feel honoured to know here on DA. I'm so grateful for all the support other artists have given me - I initially came to DA wanting to post some of my drawings but at the time I had none I thought were good enough, so I began uploading some photos I had taken on my digital camera. The fact that some people actually looked at and enjoyed these pictures really spurred me on and inspired me to take up photography as a hobby and last Decemeber I recieved a DSLR as a Christmas present. I absolutely adore taking pictures with this camera, and the fact that people enjoying seeing my photos really inspires me to take more and to strive to get better. I feel really fortunate to have so many lovely watchers and friends here and I want to say thank you for everyone that has supported me and my art as it truly mean a lot to me - You're all fantastic!

I love DA - the work I see here is so inspiring and fantastic and it sparked my passion for art and, namely, photography. I really hope I'll be here for years to come as there are so many wonderful artists out there that I want to have the chance to meet and communicate with.
